Shooting Schedule

Here we go again... this entire day felt like deja vu. It's crazy to think that Rija and I were in the exact same situation we were in a whole year ago. (Heck, I was even in the same clothes, wearing the same jewellery, and had done my makeup the exact same way.) On 17th February 2024, we shot our preliminary task, and now, on 22nd March 2025, we were back in Androon (Old Lahore) to shoot our final music video.

Since Sir Zia liked our preliminary task (thank you, God), we stuck with the same basic outline and even contemplated whether we should shoot it again or not, because we did get some pretty good shots last time. But in the end, it was mutually decided that the shoot would happen. Voila, here's how the shoot was decided.

Also, thankfully, I decided to wear the same clothes because we ended up using footage from both shooting days. If I hadn’t… my God, even thinking about that makes me feel sick, because then we’d probably have had to do a re-reshoot.

So, our schedule was as follows:

I was supposed to pick Rija up from her house at 7:30 a.m. (Morning??? Yes, morning). We obviously needed a chaperone, and thankfully, my mother agreed to come along, which was actually great because she ended up filming the BTS :)

After picking up Rija, we had planned to go straight to Lahore Fort and shoot there. All of our filming was to be done in that area, so a proper schedule wasn’t really needed since we were staying in the same place the whole time. We had planned to start in the garden area just outside the Fort, Hazuri Baghand then move inside to capture scenes at different spots. One of our key locations was the Elephant Stairs, we really wanted to make use of that dramatic, grand staircase for a few walk-by and run-by shots We also planned to explore a few hidden corners of the Fort to add some variety to our footage and take full advantage of the aesthetic.

Andddd yes, that was all for our schedule (super detailed, right??). But still, we pulled it off, so I call it a win.
