Please, God, never let me see that number on my result card.

The pain we went through to pick those 60 clips? Unmatched. And it’s not like we just watched each video once and chose the best ones. Oh no. It was endless rewatching. Again. And again. Until we literally knew every second of every clip by heart. I’m not even kidding... we were quoting our own footage at one point.

Anyway, here are some of our favourite shots that actually made it into the final cut of our film opening (AKA the survivors):

Now, let’s take a moment of silence for the rejected shots.

Not because they weren’t good or anything... but like, either the lighting was off, or I looked directly into the camera (Rija, I swear I tried), or I just randomly started laughing mid-scene (Rija, part 2 of my public apology).

And then there were those shots that felt like pure cinema when we filmed them.. but turned out to be shaky, blurry, or just plain weird once we saw them on screen. We appreciate your service, even if you didn’t make it to the final film.
