Behold, the screenshots of editing timeline:

For the software, I usually edit on Wondershare Filmora since I’m super familiar with it, but right before I started this project, the software completely crashed. So I had to switch to CapCut last minute, not what I planned, but it ended up working well enough. CapCut’s interface was easy to pick up, and I was able to recreate most of the editing style I had in mind.
The editing process was mainly about finding the right pace and flow. Since the film doesn’t have any dialogue I had to make sure the visuals and music worked together to carry the narrative. That meant a lot of experimenting with the timings, and adjusting cuts until it just felt right.

Not every shot made it in, though. I’ve added some screenshots of scenes we ended up cutting in the 'Footage' post (Production), mostly because they didn’t fit the tone or slowed down the pacing, or just felt weird and awkward.
